THE HE TRE FACING
HARD TIME DEALING WITH COUNTERFEITED COPIES THAT ARE SOLD EVERYWHERE WITHOUT
THE HE TRE’S PERMISSION:
For over two decades, The He Tre
has been using its own resources to support the above programs. It has never asked for help from any
organization.
But for over 5 years, it has been suffering and have been
receiving serious damages due to the rise of illegal and counterfeited
copies. Many valuable programs (like
programs to keep children away from drugs, gangs and peer pressure from their
peers, to direct children toward an
education and a strong work ethic, to add to the rich culture of the United
States by contributing the best features of their own heritage, to promote cultural understanding to the
local community about Vietnamese American culture…) have been postponed or cancelled.
Without funding, The He Tre will not be able to survive and
will not be able to continue serving as a bridge between Vietnamese children
and their parents, as well as a bridge between
Vietnamese children and local children worldwide, especially in this economic
crisis.
Hopefully, The He Tre can receive some
funds and rise above all difficulties to keep producing valuable educational
and cultural programs. Hopefully with
your sponsorship, it will be able to continue serving the global community like
it has been doing for the past twenty years.
